Game 7: UC Santa Barbara

After their first long trip of the season, the Terps are back in action again today against UC Santa Barbara at the Thunderdome. The game is not on TV, but you can purchase it to watch it on the web for I believe $10. Otherwise you can listen to it on the radio and watch GameTracker.

Last year, Maryland stomped UCSB 105-44 at Comcast and UCSB finished second in the Big West for the first time in 12 years. This year UCSB is 2-2 with wins over USC and Loyola (Marymount). Their 79 points in their last game was the most all season. They are led by their 6-4 senior center Jenna Green, who is averaging 13 and 7.5. They have another 6-4 center, but they are being outrebounded 37 to 41. They are shooting .369 on the season and .281 from three.

Again we need to just grab the ball and go, so that the team can burn off that thanksgiving feast. The goal should be to get Emery Rookie of the Week honors with another stellar performance.

Then it's rest and get ready for a trip to LA for the Bruins.
