Three streaks ended tonight: Kristi's double-double, Kristi's last bucket of the half and Notre Dame's WNIT winning streak. Two ranked opponents up, two ranked opponents down. Sunday we try to make it 3-for-3.
Kristi was on fire from long range, but also had help from Marah and Marissa as the team hit a school-record 12 three-pointers. The team played fluid on offense and handled ND's defense early on. I like how we responded each time ND made a run and then came out in the second half ready to slam the door on ND's upset thoughts. Harper continues to play with a purpose with Langhorne sidelined. I wish we would have put more pressure on ND to force them into more mistakes.
The officiating needs to be addressed. How many times does a player have to be slapped before a foul is called?
