Fresh off the big win over Ekud on Sunday, the Terps have another emotional game tonight. But it's a different kind of emotion as we sort of say goodbye to Kristi and Marissa tonight (they will be back for the 1st and 2nd rounds of the tournament). Last year's senior game was very emotional with the entire team crying during pregame festivities and it looked like it took us a half to wake up. We also needed OT to beat Florida State. I hope tonight we can keep our emotions in check until after the game when this happens:
The opponent tonight is Boston College a team we played five games ago. You can read my report about BC here and then check on the recap.
A win tonight puts us another step closer to the #1 seed in the tournament.
Keys to the Game
- Rebound the ball. Dee and Lynetta did a great job in the first match up and we need them to do more of the same tonight.
- Play defense. Last time we let BC do what they wanted on offense and it sparked a trip from AD Yow to practice. This time Ms. Yow can walk into the huddle to impart some words of wisdom if the D is under par.
- Attack the Trees. Swords and Murphy can't keep up with our speed and as a result it should result in fouls.
- Hands up on defense. just a hand in a shooter's face can make all the difference.
- Play cool and calm and the rest will be fine.
