Hot Shooting Sends Wolf Pack Running For The Hills

With the cold temperatures outside, Maryland decided the best way to keep everyone warm was to try and set the nets on fire and they nearly accomplished that in the first half last.

Over the last 11:09 of the first half, the Terps made nine straight shots and 10 of their last 11. They missed eight shots the entire half and finished shooting 70%. I thought they did a great job of finding the open shooter and not forcing shots.

I thought the defense was decent, but we struggled to contain Beal and should have been able to outrebound this team by more than 8. We had a our typical out of halftime lull, but Kizer and Coleman made sure the lead never dipped under double-digits.

It was good to see Yemi and Kim get playing time, but I wish Kim would have seen more time and don't get why Kristi is playing 34 minues in a 20-point blow out. At some point she needs to rest and we need to develop past her.

Mingo and Marah must have read the blog as both scored in double figures and Mingo looked more confident.

Congrats to Marissa for passing Shay and staying on pace for 2000 points.

The postgame ceremony for Harper was outstanding and her speech was awesome. Two more jerseys from that team to retire.
