Game 32: Ekud (ACC Tournament)

Another day, another game. While we have had two nailbiting games, Ekud has coasted to two victories and has only trailed by 40 seconds the entire tournament. It seems as if loss to us has sparked Ekud's offense as they have scored more than 75 in their last four games.

A win today gives us our first ACC title since 1989 and also prevents a team named Ekud or UNC from winning the crown in the last 11 years.

Keys to the Game
- Rebound. We did a great job yesterday and need to do the same day. Duke has the height like UNC did.
- Defend. Ekud plays better defense than UNC and we can't expect to win by not making key stops.
- Pick up the tempo. Ekud wants to slow the game down and wear you out with their defense. The quicker we get the ball down the floor and score will disrupt their chance of setting up their defense.
- Attack Black. She's the key to their offense. Get her in foul trouble and the lane opens up more.
- Handle the pressure. I expect to see more pressure D from Ekud as their recent plan has been to blitz their opponents and then let their D do the work. KT will be held and grabbed, etc.
- Don't let Waner or Thomas get hot. If they start feeling it, it could be a long day.
