ESPN finally had some mercy on us as they announced Maryland in the first bracket instead of waiting until the end as they normally do.
Here's a quick look at our bracket.
1st round - Dartmouth: Ivy League team. Should be able to defeat them with our skill and size.
2nd round - Villanova/Utah: One's a rematch with Daron's former team which had a surprising run to the Mountain West Tournament title, the other is against a team that runs its offense slower than a snail walks.
Sweet 16 - Kansas State/Vandy: K-State has one of the top PGs in the country and Vandy will look for revenge from last year.
Elite 8 - Louisville/LSU/South Dakota State/Baylor: We could face Benedict Arnold, a defensive-minded LSU team which is surging, a mid-major which we beat earlier this year and a Big 12 team that saw it's star go down with injury a few weeks ago.
Overall I think it's a tough bracket that is going to force us to play different ways. Nova will slow us down and Louisville will press us all over the place.
We have to bring our A game every night to make it to St. Louis.
First game is Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
