Monday's Musings

  • Langhorne named ACC Player of the Week for the first time this season.
  • According to yesterday's Texas-Purdue game, Nancy Lieberman doesn't think Lang is one of the top 5 players in the country. Luckily, Pam Ward (and an alum) chimed in. NL believes Marissa is the best player on the team though.
  • The State News writes about Saturday's blowout twice
  • The Diamondback also writes about the win.
  • Having read over most of the message boards now, two conclusions have been reached: 1. People think we are scary good or 2: Michigan State is overrated. I wonder what this team must do to prove itself?

I think the only way that Maryland is going to get the respect it deserves is when we play Duke this Saturday at Duke...but not only do we have to beat duke but we have to do it convincingly so there is no question as to why we won the game.
