Monday Musings

  • Happy New Year to all the Terps' fans and let's hope 2007 means another title for our ladies!
  • Still No. 1 in the latest AP poll, but we lost two first place votes.
  • Future Terp Kim Rodgers was MVP of the Bojangles Shootout scoring 19 points in the championship against Oakton, which features Duke signee Jasmine Thomas who was held to nine points.
  • In ESPN's Images of the Year, The Terps were the first images posted after the word Champions appeared on the screen. Hopefully ESPN will post the video on line soon.

    Sunday's Opponent Outcomes
    Boston College defeated Massachusetts, 70-64
    Loyola beat Penn, 75-63
    Michigan State beat Wisconsin, 56-46
    TCU beat UMKC, 68-45

    Nobody else picked up those 2 votes, so it's my guess that 2 papers didn't send their vote in.
